Tree FAQs

1. Is there a dollar value per tree planted? 

Depending on the tree, the value of the tree varies. Trees are one of the most important things in this world and do not have a value per tree. Trees are essential to living, and without it, the world would be extinct. Trees have many different purposes and can provide many different products. 

2. How do I know that the tree won't be cut down? 

The trees that are planted would be cut down eventually, but these trees would be able to grow back again and again. These trees that are planted, will grow rapidly and will help improve the lives of everyone around. 

3. Why are trees important? 

Trees are important to both people and environment, and they are essential to living. Trees absorb carbon dioxide (which is harmful, in large amounts!), and then gives off oxygen (which we use to breathe!) Trees are important because they help threatened lands, and the people living there as well. One small action can benefit everything and everywhere around you. 

4. Are pesticides used when planting trees? 

No, pesticides are not used on any trees. 

5. Can I pick where the trees are planted? 

Currently, we are able to pick where the trees are to be planted. There are tons of location to choose from, such as North America, Latin America, Asia and Africa. You can also get involved by donating to programs dedicated to planting trees, one tree at a time. Other ways to get involved is to host an event at school and raise money to plant trees. You can also get businesses to help pitch in! There are tons of ways to make the world a better place, even at home! You can turn off electricity when you are not using it, reuse water, recycle and more. Just because you are not out there planting trees, does not mean you are not making a difference! 

6. Where are the trees planted in North America? 

Trees in North America are planted in these areas, Oregon, California, Colorado, British Columbia and Florida. 

7. Where are the trees planted in Latin America? 

Trees in the Latin America area are planted in these areas, Brazil and Guatemala. 

8. Where are the trees planted in Africa? 

Currently, trees planted in Africa can only be planted in Ghana. 

9. Where are the trees planted in Asia? 

Currently, trees planted in Asia can only be planted in Indonesia. 

10. Can you provide proof of planting? 

Yes! We can provide proof of planting. If you would like to verify that the trees are planted, please contact us at support@zenterawatches.com

11. Who are the partners you work with? Are you a charity? 

 No, Zentera Watches is not a charity. Zentera Watches work with many different non-profit tree planting charities based all over the world. If you are looking to make a donation, please refer to the 'Donation' page. Any donation that we receive will be donated to many different vouched non-profit tree planting organizations around the world. 

12. How do I know that the trees are actually being planted? 

From the time of purchase, the trees being planted would take anywhere from a few weeks to six months. Zentera Watches pair up with partners that non-profit organizations that are vouched, and have a pristine reputation. Our partner has photo stations, and they take pictures and photos. Photos of trees before, and after they are planted. 

13. Is there a map to see how many trees are being cut down/lost? 

Yes! There is, you can check how many trees are being cut down and or lost around the world by using this map. This is the Global Watch Map, pink doesn't mean good!
